These workers need to get the UAW in there, to protect them from their employers' greed. All "business decisions" are made with the company's best interest in mind, with total disregard for the workers who put them in that profitable position. I know - I work for Honda in Ontario, and we are not unionized and I see the crap form the company everyday. Greed greed greed and more greed.

20 years for BMW: S.C. plant a success – build and operate the plant with No government subsidies or other needles nonsense. A BMW is way too expensive for me and I will drive my current vehicle into the ground before buying anything else, it was paid for many years ago. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII! - The Day After......

One of the most frequently seen automobiles out this way, particularly in Beverly Hills. And they're nice-looking. Never owned one, so I can't vouch for their performance. Drove an old beater BMW on an errand once, and decided to speak a bit of German to it to get it to start. It liked my German and ran fine.

good for them. in fact I prefer buying non union. I think unions bad for the rest of us. Google unions and organized crime before you spout how good they are.

“Probably provides lots of jobs.”
Right, 7000 at the BMW plant and 16,000 more at the various suppliers of parts. The sad part is, in a non-union state, the wages paid are not what they should be. That keeps the price of the cars down but makes it tough on a worker with a family.

I hope their quality is good even if it doesn't have a union.....we don't need unions all they are good for is taking money from their members and ripping people off.
